I took mine off to look for restrictor and noticed that the gasket came apart. I want to paint it while its off but cant get a new gasket any time soon. Can I ride it without the gasket?

You really do not need the cvt cover gasket. Most people don't put one back in.

I have thrown away probably over 100 of those gaskets. No one uses them. I dont even bother to sell them.
