Hey guys, I need some serious help. I was driving to work today and my scooter started to spit out oil from the CVT.. it has a little hose attached to it and I don't know why it started to squirt it out.. I'll admit.. I own a 150cc and I was speeding on my way to work.. I had to cover about 12 miles in less then 15 miles.. as I started to drive I began smelling something odd.. as a result I saw it shooting oil out. Now I have a 12 mile ride back and only 4 bucks.. can someone help me out? Attachments:

thats a breather tube for the transmission oil. It could be overfilled. you only fill it up to the filler hole and thats it.

btw, I read that you shouldn't fill it up to the filler hole.. it would be wayy too much.

Engine oil. it should be (with you in the sitting position on the bike) at the lower right side of the engine. unscrew it and check level with the small dipstick that is attached to the knob.

Spandi, I got a quick question.. we actually filled up the engine oil earlier today because according to my mechanic.. he had already changed it.. yet today it had none according to the guy who did a quick check up on it. we put in oil already.. how do I know if I have enough? I'm sorry for all these retarded questions.

Being new to scooters and having to find out is not "retarded" The small dipstick (about 2 1/2 to 3 inches long) has a series of fill lines on it (mine has a horizontal line then 3 "x" marks stacked one on top of another, then another mark on top of that.) The level should be over the X pattern (on mine that would be over the stacked x pattern with oil)

Thanks Spandi, I appreciate it. I got a question for you.. how is it possible to detect and oil leak? because if my mechanic said he changed the oil recently.. and now I'm out of oil.. there's got to be something completely wrong with it. I noticed my muffler was smoking up a lot the other day, after a ride or when I'd stop at a light. Does anyone know if there's any members here who are from Miami who could genuinely help me? because I feel like I'm getting lied to some where around here.
