I have an ICE BEAR PST150H TRIKE, and the mufflers that come with it are CHEAP and fall apart in a very short time. How short well the Orignal lasted me 2 months the rivets started falling off and the muffler was leakin front and back. So I had the ends welded. That was good for another month then the baffles inside came loose and rattled and block the exhaust. So I ordered another one $126.00 for a header and muffler. Put that on and again with 2 months I had that Muffler welded next month the baffles came loose inside. Well I was not about to spend $126.00 every 3 or 4 months. Now you have to realize that fitting a Muffler on the TRIKE is a little different than on a Scoot which has the muffler on the side out in the open. The muffler I needed could NOT be longer than 13" from tip to tip otherwise it would not fit due to the Axle. So I went to my Hot Rod Builder and Welder and he said no problem he said all I every get for the Hot Rods is SuperTrapp Mufflers they will outlast the Rods. So we got on the internet and we looked at several and decided on this one because it would fit really nice due to its length. www.supertrapp.com/product_sections/cat.asp?CatID=34Then we just had to decide what OD we wanted to fit whatever the outlet of the header pipe. Since my OEM header Pipe had a 2 1/2 outlet we got that one. Then he looked at my OEM Header Pipe which is 1" OD and said let me make you a 1 1/4 Header Pipe to go with the Muffler. And that is what I had him do he make me a 1 1/4 Header Pipe with a 2 1/2 outlet to fit INSIDE the Muffler Inlet that way no leaks. And here is the Supertrapp Muffler with the 1 1/4 Header Pipe Awesome, he said it will outlast the Trike. The 12 inch muffler comes with 8 Disc(s) and they say to use 4 to 8 Disc(s) for stock setup. Less Disc(s) more backpressure and quieter, more Disc(s) more freeflow and louder. So I tried all the number of Disc(s) starting from 4 Disc(s) and found that 4-5-6 was the same as the OEM muffler at WOT. So I tried 7-8 and just left all 8 Disc(s) on and it gave me a couple miles per hour more on top end. As for the Loudness 4-5-6 were about the same as my OEM Muffler, 7-8 just a little louder. I just have a little sound byte of it but it is soild as a rock no color changes on it yet, they said it might turn a little golden color but so far it has not. CLICK ON THE PICTURE: Alleyoop
