Ok I bought a buggy for my kids that wasn’t running has Howhitt gy6 150cc engine, replaced stator, coil and CDI and carb , it will start and idle but when it’s almost ready to start moving engine quits, I don’t know what else to do, I thought the new carb would fix issue but it’s the same as old carb, plz help

could be
clogged exhaust system
needs a valve job
low oil
vacuum leak
bad petcock

Look for a vacuum leak. A cracked intake manifold or bad vacuum line would interrupt the vacuum that opens up the slide as it lifts from the diaphragm lifting it.
