I'm struggling with my Scoot's (2009 Piaggio BV 250) starting. It starts and runs fine, but if I turn it off and try to immediately restart...NOTHING. It's like the start button doesn't work...no starter turning, no sounds, nada. If I let it sit for 20-30 minutes, it will start and run fine, but if I shut it off, the same thing occurs. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

try relocating your starter solenoid to somewhere cooler

You might want to check the charging voltage. Piaggio scooters sometime have voltage regulator issues. It might be that the battery is running it and when you shut it off the battery no longer has the volts to start it.

it would still click if that was the case
I had a solenoid start to go bad and it would work only when cold and jam up when hot
