Hello everyone, I purchased a used boom rugged tmec150 T-8. I am looking to purchase parts. I can not find what it is a clone of. It seems very slow. I believe its the 2017 model if you Google it. It's black with blue accents. The foot plate area is all black. I just need help so I can find parts. Does this have the gy6 engine that keeps popping up. It runs. No bogging just slow to gain speed and tops out at 30 most. And can barley make it up a hill. What should I replace? I have not opened the scooter for inspection yet. I am mechanical inclined. But online only shows me new bikes for sale. No replacement blinkers or plastics. I need the clone name. I figied it would be the same parts. Please help

Typical top speed for the GY6 150cc is around 50mph. No clue on how much the engine has been "tinkered with" . . so one can only speculate what the deficiency may be! Inspect variator . . . |

So I took it apart when I got home. The throttle cable was loose at the throttle body. I tighten the the nuts and tested it and it goes about 50 mph easy. I had to order a new rear brake the drum is no good. The but is now all the way in. Was cheap enough though and new blinker housing. I think the scooter was crashed or just abused. I am still having a hard time finding a replacement front fairing. Its crack and missing a chunk of plastic on the left side of your sitting down.
