I rode a lot scootes when I was young and I always felt that the engine compression was good and the speed gaining once you gas was pretty good.
I just bought a Bintelli beast 49cc brand new.... dealer told me just put gas and ride it, I ask him if this nice looking scooter will gas like those I used to ride when I was young and he said yes.
I just rode the bike for 4 blocks and I felt like the bike couldn't keep up with my 200 pounds and couldn't go over 25mph.... I called the dealer and he said let the engine set... ride for a bit then the bike will start getting to the normal speed riding that my weight doesn't have any link with the speed. I felt that this bike in comparison with a regular scooter has no power.... please advice

Is the Beast fully broken in? They gain power until they are completely broken in.

There is another Thread about this topic, too. My question is, is the OP comparing this Bintelli Beast's performance to a 2-stroke scooter performance from his past? If he is comparing 2-stroke to 4-stroke, he might be disappointed. Also, I don't know if Bintelli restricts their scooters or not. If they do, perhaps it is still restricted?

I think he should be able to achieve better than 25mph, even if he weighs 2 Bill's. Sounds like a cvt issue but I have never serviced one.

It might have been uphill - or into the wind... ;-)
I feel he may be comparing the pickup of a 2-stroke from his "younger days"...

I don't know about GY6 50cc engines but I can tell you this. When my 50cc Cub clone engine was new it struggled to reach 25 mph in fourth gear. As the miles piled up it loosened up a lot. Now, on a level road, it will do 50 mph. Be patient. Better days are coming.

The 49 cc Beast we had would do about 28-29 mph with me on it, flat ground and no wind. This was new and will increase some as it breaks in. 25 mph might not be too bad with some wind or a hill. Tao Racer50 is about the same. Bintelli Spint was about 30. Another thing to remember is the speedo's on these scoots are not exactly accurate. The 150 is a totally different animal.

I think expecting full performance from a bike with four blocks on it is unrealistic.
