I have a new Ice Bear PTS150-9 Mojo Trike. It seems to me I have to have a rather high rpm before it moves. There is no brake drag as it moves rather easy. I have not ridden it any distance as I have not gotten insurance or registered it. Do you think drive RPM will lower with use?

Not sure how those are setup vs. a lighter bike, but is the clutch engaging properly?

The clutch seems to engage properly, it is just that I have to give it a rather high RPM before it engages sitting still. At normal riding speed it works fine Also riding at speed it boges down if I try to accelerate up a hill, I think this is a carburetor fuel adjustment, issue, and will wait untill I get a few miles on it. . I had an Ice Bear 300cc Magnum 3 years ago and I loved it, put over 3,000 miles on it in two years, but because of some surgeries one after the other I had to sell it,

it bogs down going up hill because it is a 150 trike and the clutch is setup that way so it will have the torque you need to get moving at all a trike is heavy

I have put 300 klm on the 2018 PST150-9 at 13/14 throttle if I start up a small or slight uphill grade it bogs down. I have noticed there is no air speed adjustment, only a brass plug where it should be, so there is no help there. It idles fine at 1800 RPM. I plan to put a big bore kit in it this winter. I have to find out how large I can go before I have the case bored out. I found a 170 cc that states no boring required. I am going to replace all air and fuel hoses and spark plug. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. PS I was riding a 2012 300 Magnum for three years had 5000 miles on it but had to sell it because of medical issues. I am on the mend now.

Drill a small hole in the brass cap and get a screw in there and pry that plug out so you can get at the mixture screw

You can fiddle with the idle mixture screw (the one behind that brass plug), til the cows come home, and it won't help your hill climbing ability a bit.
Do you think that maybe you are expecting a little too much from your trike? It will never perform like the one you used to have, with twice as much engine.
