Long-time rider here but just getting started again after a 5 year hiatus.  Got run over by a pickup truck (while in the work van, luckily!) and have only recently acquired the new people-parts that allow me to ride again.  The Honda Helix has been sitting for 5 years and has required much work to clean out the neglect, but I think it'll be ready to ride in a couple of days, barring any more unexpected nastiness. (have you guys seen what DOT 4 looks like after being stagnant for 5 years?  yuck!)  I was active in a scooter club here in Corpus Christi but it had all but disappeared even before I'd stopped riding.  But I see so many scooters on the road now that I hope to find something here again.
