Why do you keep picking folks I don't know at all?
Sigh.
Unless there's more info than witchcraft, I'm abstaining again.

Jimmy Page , inspired by Albert Lee and it doesn't get any better than that.

'Tis Jimmy, I'm afraid... Jimmy Page was known to occasionally play a Giannini Craviola - and I have one, too!

"Why do you keep picking folks I don't know at all?"You are showing how young you are, Kat. -Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page worked together in the Yardbirds. The Yardbirds had another member you may have heard of: Eric Clapton. -Jeff Beck later formed his own band; the Jeff Beck Group. A pic of the band is below. You may recognize the bloke in the back of the pic; Rod Stewart. The members of the Jeff Beck Band changed from time to time. Watch out for those black cats!

-Back to Jimmy.
-Before Jimmy Page was a professional guitarist, he owned and operated an occult book store.
-Jimmy studied the life and writings of Aleister Crowley. Crowley was a magician at times, rejected Christianity, studied the occult and started his own cult called the Abbey of Thelema in Sicily. Ozzie Osborne recorded a song about Aleister Crowley entitled, "Mr Crowley".
When I was in high school, Robert Plant's son died tragically and unexpectedly at the age of 5 or 6. It was said that Plant blamed the unexpected death on the witchcraft of Jimmy Page.
-I don't know if Jimmy's study of the occult was just a phase he went through or if he really embraced witchcraft.

I never knew who Ozzy was singing about either! Not that long ago, I saw a documentary about the occult and it featured Aleister Crowley. Crowley actually offered his occult expertise to British Intelligence during WWII. It is said that he was well acquainted with Ian Fleming. Some saw Aleister Crowley as the most evil man in the world (next to Hitler). Others saw him as an exceptionally creative person that rejected tradition, travelled and did what he liked for a living, instead of working a normal job. -One could understand how a young musical artist would be interested in the life of Crowley.

"Why do you keep picking folks I don't know at all?"You are showing how young you are, Kat. ... I resemble that remark! And I've heard of the Yardbirds. Can't name any of their songs, but then again there's only four bands I can name more than one song of. And yes, I've heard of those two guys. Say kev, how's about next machoiest being Rod Stewart or Eric Clapton? Although I'm not sure I could pick between them, at least I've heard of them. Throw in Ozzy though and that one becomes no contest.

This is the only Yardbird song I remember. Odd that there are no guitar solos with Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page aboard.

Speak of the devil...Yesterday,I heard on the radio that Jeff Beck will be doing some strumming on Anne Wilson's (formerly of Heart) new album. Unfortunately, the Wilson sisters are still feuding and will not work together.
