Pretty amazing what one can do with 8,10,12hp or so with the right launch. Anybody have a line on this guys clutch setup post up please.

I know what your talking about ,,I think he’s using a modified multi plate centrifugal motorcycle clutch,,, they are infinitely adjustable as far as rpm when they clamp closed,,, I don’t think you can get the normal arm style adjusted to where it will just suddenly clamp up tite like the guy you’re talking about,, he takes off with authority

Thats exactly what is is and Im looking for. the is the plate type clutch Im looking for on a pit bike at the ARMA event in Rockingham last fall. Wouldn't even need the Vari. in those short runs, just so the clutch won't lockup till over 7,000rpm and when it does the rpm's will drop 1-2,000rpm.. I read an article about that style clutch,,,the guy using it was a war vet and lost his left hand ,,but he didn’t lose his desire to ride,,,let me see if I can dig it up,,,no promises,,,it’s been a while

Found one on eBay of all places,,,made by Lifan,,,Chinese of course, it's made for scooters,,, small displacement 50-100cc and 100-200cc,,,$30
