has anyone ever encountered first hand a starter clutch NOT disengage after the engine was running and keep spinning the starter without the solenoid being the culprit, meaning solenoid definitely NOT sending juice to the starter?

since the clutch has to move outward to engage the teeth on the variator ring gear, I don't see any reason it couldn't stick, with chinese parts, anything that can go wrong, will go wrong, or you might say if it can go wong, it will go wong , with some of the oddball mechanical failures that i just dealt with on my scooter, which aren't supposed to be possible, well you fill in the rest

I get all you say fully, but these aren't on the drive side accessible and seen by just taking the belt cover off. these are on the right side in the oil with spring loaded roller pins that wedge themselves (with the help of springs) when the starter turns and like when you stop pedaling a ten speed, the starter stops turning, they disengage.
