it will probably be next month before I can get that 11 pole, I have put so much money into this thing to get it running. As long as you have the plug and pins for the regulator, the rest is simple as long as I can find a pin out and diagram, I will most likely put a weather pack connector on the stator output anyway

the new one disconnected shows 60 ohms to ground from both output wires. thats not right, plus it has zero volts out when running I rely more on output voltage than ohming. Temp can effect the reading. John

well it has zero volts out, the resistance isn't going to change that much, a good stator only has a couple o ohms resistance between the wires and ground, a brand new one showing 60 ohms to ground on each, shows something is wrong, my bet is they didn't clean the coating off of the leads ends, and soldered right over it

Are you reading AC or DC Volts from the stator?

well AC of course, I replaced the stator because the charge coil voltage had dropped to the point where it couldn't power the cdi effectively. it starts and runs now, just no voltage output

I want to get a cheap one working for the moment, then next month I'm converting to the 11 pole

I was not being a wise guy, its hard to figure out ones skill set on a forum. Sometimes you just have to come out and ask to be sure.

you're fine, you would be surprised at how many people think it's DC out

this is the issue with the Iglobalbuy crap, they routed all the wires wrong on stator assembly, none were in reliefs, but ran on top of the plastic cores, so as soon as the bike turned over, the flywheel destroyed the wires . This stator also had the heat sleeving missing, just open wires, and the grommet for the wires didn't fit the GY6 opening. I had to reuse my original heat sleeving, grommet, and pickup, as the new one didn't work.

I bought the X pro one, I found it on another parts site, and it was highly rated, I back traced it to Amazon, it was only 20 bucks, but the quality difference is huge, I have never seen my lights as bright as they are now, and my battery is charging at 14.6 volts. I'm going to go with the 11 pole, but just not this minute. This is the first stator I've seen in an actual box with a brand name, not some nameless part in a bag.
