Hey everyone,
So I finally got my honda elite 80 running the other day, and ive got a problem. When I first got it running, it would die when I gave it gas. Let it sit overnight, and then the problem was gone when I went to work on it the next morning. I repaired a hole in the fuel line, and it was running beautifully. I came out to ride it the next day (today), and again, it now dies when I give it gas (and it took forever to start). Any ideas on what is wrong?

Couple things come to mind,,,either there's a small piece of debris in the bowl that's floating around causing trouble ,,or your fuel tank isn't venting,,,do the easy one first crack open the fuel tank cap and see if the problem disappears,,,if not then I believe the carb needs to come off and it needs to be cleaned,,,also check all vacuum lines for cracks and holes and the intake manifold for signs of leakage,,cracks,, loose to the carb or head

So I cleaned tha carb again, no luck. There doens't seem to be any vaccum leaks anywhere.
When I put the carb back in, it started up, and I had to coax it to stay running. Today, the same thing happened: hard to start and keep running. I went for a ride on it. After I rode it for about 30 minutes, I let it sit, and it idled fantastically. I turned it off, then back on, and it started right up, not problems.
Is there anything you know that would make it hard to start and idle, but then run fine and idle fine after its been warmed up?
