do most or all the Chinese scooters use the same engine the gy6 replica. GY6 50CC 139QMB
Taotao, VIP, peace sport, gator the ones typically found on craigslist.
I am mechanically inclined. and have been doing research on what needs to be replaced to make them reliable.
if i'm missing anything let me know
1. change fuel filter
2. change drive belt with Kevlar Belts
3. adjust valves
4. change CDI to deregulate rpms
5. remove the spacer by the variator to deregulate the speed
6. tighten all the bolts.
7. change the oil
