I have the grounds on and double checked
There is no safety switch on either kick stand
Yeah the kill works at the CDI although i am still trying to fully understand how the kill works with the DC CDI. I guess the switch essentially ungrounds the power line to the CDI from what I can tell. It's different than how it works for AC i've read.
I haven't gotten this thing to turn. just run starter motor

Installed new valves (steel). Motors back on, everything is hooked up great but it looks like there is some kind of obscure issue going on with some unexpected connection somewhere on this thing. I have checked and rechecked and checked again.
The question I have specifically about how I am not getting any power to the wires on the solenoid when I turn ignition on, pull break in, and press start button. I get all lights on (main front light, breaks, signals... etc) when I turn the ignition on. I also measure ignition power to the CDI when ignition on... etc.
I only have about 100miles on this thing. I only changed out the valves because the exhaust valve got tight and wouldn't let it start and I would have to adjust it often given the history of cheap valves on these chinese gy6 knockoffs
