My 2012 Jonway yyt250 speedomoter doesn't seem to be accurate.
Has anyone else noticed this?
For instance when it says Im doing 40 MPH I believe im doing 35.
I live near a highway that is 55 MPH If i'm doing 50 MPH on my bike the cars are wizzing by me, going around me, honking at me.
So I believe I'm doing 45 in a 55 ?
Tires are origional, not been changed, only replaced valve cores.
Are cars and traffic just speeding? or is it my scooter?

[replyingto=urbanmadness]urbanmadness[/replyingto]Pulled down got it free from the studs, all screws out even at floor boards, still it will seperate but not come free.
The bulb is secured by a clip...but no way I can see to release the clip without removing a phillips screw that without the front removed looks impossible. If not for the clip I can reach my hand in there, get rubber boot out of the way, and get my hand on buld....but the darn clip is stopping me.

Yep...two studs coming down with a washer and a nut on each side, removed them too....that did absoultly nothing!

I'm bleeding!!!!!
I have a 2012 Jonway Scooter 250 yt
My headlight went out along with my turn signal, How do you replace the headlight?
I watched a youtube video looked simple NO WAY! JONWAY...I removed all... ALL the screws to the front end plastic...NOTHING! it would seperate a bit...but the top where windshield is would not free up...I was afraid to pry on plastic anymore than I did.
I also reached up in there, removed the rubber boot..then nothing! It wouldnt turn to be free...I understand theres a clip but cant even see it.
Any Idea;s or help....I'm really frustrated and about to kick the bike over.

This may seem like a dumb question but I'm curious and new to scooters. I have a 2012 Jonway 250, Now first question. 1. How far can you travel on a scooter? Short trips in town only? or can you go on a road trip say 200 miles there and back? I want to visit my son but he lives aobut 70 /  miles from me. 2. How many miles do scooters average before the engine or other parts are DOA? And your scooter go's to the great scooter trail in the sky! thanks! |

Hi everyone, Here is the situation.
WIND!
I have trouble handling my 2012 Jonway 250 on windy days.
Very discouraging. I'm fine until a strong wind comes up, or a strong side wind then I panic.
The bike kind of moves where I dont want it to. I tense up, hit the brakes slightly, come off the throttle. Not too cool when doing 45 or 55 MPH.
Am I being over cautious? Whats the soultion?
