Wow, we got alotta people from MO. I see a lot of scooters going around here in Trenton, but I don't think they are on this forum.

In reading through the forums on here, I notice a lot of people are from MO. I myself am in Trenton MO. My brothers trying to get a group of scooters together to do a cruise here in Trenton sometime this summer. Would anyone be interested? We already have 4 of us that would go here in town. Just saw alotta MO people and thought I'd ask  |

I used to be Military Police. My cert just ran out for radar, but I spent a few days in class to learn how to use it correctly. When used, it sends out a sonar wave in a huge "triangle" shape in front of you. True, it will pick up the largest object moving towards you or away (depending on what mode your using). On your radar when you clock someone speeding, your supposed to lock it in. When you do that it freezes the speed they clocked you at. Your supposed to do that so you can show the person before writing them a ticket. If you don't do that, they always told us it's your word VS there's. So, he might not have locked your speed in. Also, if you do get a ticket and think your getting a BS ticket, take it to court. Sometime the cops are so busy with other things they can't show up. Did they also teach you about the audio verification? This is a tone that changes with the speed reading, and used to be required so that you can verify you are targeting the correct object. It is a high pitched whine and most police turn it off or don't use the ear piece, because it is annoying. A lot of radar guns have an auto lock feature that will automatically lock a reading over a preset number. Roy Yes they did. It's like a beeping sound. gets louder and faster the higher speed whatever your tracking is moving at. Your also right about people turning it off or down because its annoying as lol. I turned it down but never off. |

Thanks for the welcome This summer I would like to just do bolt on stuff. Then over the winter take the engine out and build it. I have found some parts on Amazon, but I'm afraid to get the parts and they not fit. |

Hello,
I'm new to the scooter world. Last year my brother got one and started riding it. He put 8,000mi on it in one summer. So, this summer I got one to save gas. I used to spend at least $20 a week on gas in my Jeep. Now, I spend like less than $2 a week.
So anyways, my scooter is a Sunny 150. Would anyone have links to some performance parts/tips I could get for my Scooter?
