It was the starter and the ignition. A couple of wires also disconnected. Got it repaired by a friend and it runs like it did the day I purchased it. Now I just need to find a muffler for this model and install that. It sounds like a Harley right now, loud and obnoxious. At least people know where I am tho lol.

I've had it for a little over a year. Bought new. Has about 5k miles on it. Just had it serviced May 3rd, and died on my way home from work 2 weeks later. Muffler broke off due to vibration and potholes about a month before the untimely death. Rest of exhaust was still intact and solidly attached. They replaced spark plug, rear tire, fuel filter, did oil change, replaced air filter, ran a diagnostic, replaced battery, changed gear oil. I was going about 45mph when it started running quiet then about 30 seconds later it died. It was a loud obnoxious scoot so i knew something was up. It was loud even before the muffler parted ways. The dudes at the shop said it was OK to go around without it and some forums I looked at said as long as the exhaust pipe is still attached I should be OK until I can get it replaced. I need some insight as to what I can do to get this thing running again. I don't enjoy riding a bicycle 10 miles 1 way to work in the middle of summer in Arizona.
