Yeah just barely. So frustrating because it's new and now I have all these things going wrong, need fixed, replaced, or tweaked, and some of them I haven't a clue. So yes any help would be very much appreciated!! As for the fuel gauge, I couldn't take a picture of it acting up but it's definitely something I would like to get figured out. In the pictures you'll see my new "Royal Outcast" as I've named her lol. The silver screw is a temp replacement for the long one needed that fell out. The tire guard is rubbing against my shock and I already tried moving it over and that didn't work so I am almost tempted to take it off or cut the part rubbing. The exhaust is rubbing against the same shock. I tried whacking the attachment with a hammer hoping to bend it over to create space but that didn't work. Idk if I can move the exhaust considering how and where they are bolted on, but idk. Then there's the air assembly and the hose that comes out the back, you can see where it is already separating. So any advice, knowledge, help on these issues would be helpful.

So I haven't had time to check the valves yet or adjust them but yesterday when I went for a little ride I was pretty pissed 5 mins into it. List of problems that happened all in that 5 mins:
1. Fuel gauge is bouncing all around up and down and Idk why.
2. Screw came out of the handle/mirror attachment area and my local hardware store didn't have one that fits so I will have to go out of town or online to find one to put it back together.
3. Had to put the throttle cable back together cuz it came loose from the carb.
4. My muffler is rubbing against my back right shock and idk how to adjust it to get it to stop.
5. The hose that goes into my air assembly, where they glued it or whatever, well that is separating so I may order a new one if I can find it or try some opoxy to seal it up.
So yeah I am irate at the moment.

Lol. Ok thank you for the advice! I will give that a try. I haven't figured out yet how I'm gonna get it apart to adjust the valves yet. The videos I seen was with the engine out on a table, not in the scooter. As soon as I get the extra cash I'm gonna follow recommendations to put better hoses on, a magnetic oil plug, fuel filter, spark plug. One thing I can't find is info on the valves stems. I seen to replace those too but I have no idea what size they are so I can get some better ones ordered.

Yeah I changed both the oils today but didn't get to adjusting the valves yet. The break in period is kind of a buzz kill with just poking around town taking it easy.

Thank you! I will open her up and check out those hoses and look around the area for anything else. I'll try and find a how to video so I can get that adjusted today. Later I plan on buying a better battery and plug but for now I want to get her finished setting up and ready and take her for a trial run. Then I can change the oil and tranny fluids to something better.

I ordered a new Boom Rugged 150cc scooter and it was delivered today, with some assembly required. Now please keep in mind I am new to the scooter world and definitely not a mechanic or very mechanically inclined. I am aware it is a Chinese scooter with a gy6 engine. I got it assembled with minor issues, referring to the front wheel, handle bars, shocks, mirrors, etc. I noticed when I was unpackaging all the wrap and guards that the cvt transmission has a hose coming out of the top of it but it is not connected to anything. Should it be connected to something? Are there any other hoses or things I need to check to make sure they are connected properly before I try to start it up? If you have to dummy it down for me I won't be offended. Any knowledge or help would be great and much appreciated!
