Have a sunny300 for a few days and figuring things out.Went for a ride today and the bike started popping and then quit.Cdi unit wa shot but after a bit it started up and ran smooth for about 1/2 hr then started again. any ideas why cdi would get that hot?Also the PO had it mounted under the seat so maybe that's why I got the scoot so cheap

Hello.Just recently bought a Lambretta uno 150 and really enjoy being able to ride again.Use to ride yrs ago on a KZ1000 then picked up a virus that ate up my nervous system leaving me with weakened muscles so had to sell the bike.Now have some use of everything and found I could ride and hold up a scooter and enjoy riding again and found the uno for a good price.Hopefully will enjoy riding for a few more yrs again thanks to lightweight scooters

Checked ac voltage at the stator wires,has none.To explain.the bike runs well,does not charge batt and lights won't work.With a good batt lights come on really dim and brighten just slightly with rpm's.Turn signals,brake light work fine with a good batt.Someone jumped a black wire to the yellow headlight wire to make them bright.Going to replace the stator and rectifier and work from there but not sure if I need a 6 or 8 pole stator.When last person replaced things don't think he matched parts before changing.

Looking to replace the stator in a sunl150.Someone has done some things and not sure what.Anyone have an idea what stator should be in this scoot?thx. Oly
