Okay so I adjusted the vlaves, clean the carb again and adjusted the float. I warmed it uo with starter fluid and suck gas into the carb and now it starts in a jiffy. And with all of the improvements too, it sounds better than ever!

Hello, I'm new to this forums and fairly new to scooters too. About two months ago I purchased my moped with 18,000 km on it. At the time I had no idea what I was doing and if I did I would not have bought the thing, that's ALOT of distance. Anyways, it ran great for about a month, just bought it a drove it, nothing else. SO then after that month I started experiencing problems where it wouldn't hold electric so I would have to kick start it every time to get it going. I assumed it was a dead battery and made plans to buy a new one, but unfortunately after a week of kick starting it, one night I couldn't get it going to get home. I ended up taking a battery charger out to it, charged and started it and took it home.
After that I bought a new battery and charged it up and put it in only to find out I still wasn't getting electric. The fuse had come loose and prevented the connection but I fixed it and got electric. For some reason now it wont start at all and no kick start to try that way- the spring is broken and an assorment of other things. So not being able to start it, I began doing lots of research and begun troubleshooting. I first bought a new ignition coil, CDI, and spark plug and then made sure it sparked and it did. None of those things have helped, still wont start, its kicks over, the starter is good, but the thing just wont start. No pops, nothing. There is a thu thu thu thu I think from the pressure, I'm not sure. It sounds like it wants to start.
I've now cleaned out the carburetor twice now to no avail, and I've also been checking all the vacuum hoses- I suspect that may be an issue, because I also don't thing the spark plug is getting any fuel to be sparked. A bad mixture or something, I'm just guessing. I believe no fuel is getting to the spark because I stuck my finger in the hole to see if there was moisture and there wasn't any. I know gas is going from the petcock to the carburetor but I have know Idea what else is to be checked. Tomorrow I will be spraying starter fluid in the carburetor to see if it starts for a few seconds to know whether or not I'll be replacing the carburetor itself. I also plan on changing the vacuum hoses too, but we'll see what we decide after the starter fluid test. Oh, one other thing I forgot to mention, the intake filter seemed moistly clean but there seemed to be a portion of it that had be spoiled with sticky stale gas, the intake tube itself, leading to the carburetor, also had some sticky residue on it too. I don't know what that would mean, I'm not knowledgeable with these things. I'm an IT not a mechanic.
So please, if you have any input or think you know what is wrong please let me know. If asked for, Ill proved videos and pictures.
