Thanks for the replies! ramblinman - I keep an eye on Craigslist & this showed up on Salt Lake City Craigslist and pounced on it. The owner said it needed a new battery, mirror, and TLC. I just couldn't pass it up! terrilee - Thanks! I'm riding the scoot quite a bit and having fun while saving gas

Howdy everyone I've been riding motorcycles for nearly two years, but I just got my first scooter. I really couldn't pass up a 150cc with a clean title and about 2,000 miles for $25 She's a 2007 Roketa, but I don't know too much more than that. I've managed to flush the front brake fluid, revive the battery with new acid, fix the rear brake light switch, change the engine and final drive oil, replace the fuel filter, replace the valve stems in the wheels, have new keys cut, and replace the vacuum petcock with a manual version. I still have a few questions and there's still work to do. I still have to order a new kick start spindle, check the valve clearance, and replace the spark plug. In any case, this scoot is running and driving pretty well! I've had my scoot on the road now for a little over a week and it's just so nimble and so much fun! This is my other ride: That's my V-Star 650 Classic and it's my first motorcycle. Yes, I still love my V-Star even with the scooter in the stable It can be just a bit tough deciding which bike to take to work in the morning LOL! Well, that's about it for the introduction but I'll see y'all around the board. Have a great day!!!
