Well we are up and running, somewhat. There was water in the fuel so after draining the old gas and putting in fresh she sputtered to life.
Ended up changing out the carburetor as well, for a newer one along with the cdi, ignition coil, and spark plug.

The numbers I am getting make me question if I am doing the checking right (2.2 ohms) when doing the first test from the video. When cranking the motor(2nd test) I got 0 volts.
That's why I thought I would replace the cdi, and ignition coil
Thoughts anyone

leave it it is for a kick stand switch Thanks. Would it be wise to simply replace the cdi, and ignition coil just to be safe?

So here is a picture of the disconnected wires, setting on the cylinder head. i think this is the killswitch connection, so is it ok like this.

how do you disable the killswitch?
I'll post a picture of the wire that is not connected to anything once I get to my phone.

You say floor level, but the tank is under the seat and is situated above the motor.
I'll try the stuff in the video, when i get home and see how/if it works.
Thanks

So, where to start.
Picked up a il bello 50cc scooter, and once I got it home, I gave it the old once over to check it out, before i attempted to start it, only to find out that it won't start.
Engine turns over with the electric start button, but no spark at all.
Pulled the cover, and checked all the connections i could find, and all seemed connected. Pulled the spark plug, and turned it over again no spark.
Pulled the spark plug, and it seemed fine, a little wet from gas. made me think it was flooded.
But I did notice a plug that was not connected to anything, it had two wires green and black but it was not connected to anything...thinking it was the kickstand killswitch, I went looking for it, but couldn't find it.
So, all of that to say what should I be looking to test, repair and/or replace?
Is there a fuel pump, or is it a gravity feed type of valve?
My preference would be to work this out for myself, as i don't mind turning a wrench or two.
So, fire away with some suggestions so this newbie to scooters can get to putting along....
Thanks in advance

Good Day all,
I just bought my daughter a IL Bello 50cc scooter.
So we have to learn all there is to be able to let her scoot around safely. And I get to turn a few wrenches on a new to me platform.
