Only 2 months are so but before that I head driving it for a few weeks but before that it sat for a year or 2, but I charged the battery and everything was fine so it has to be a new problem all i did was replace the stator i don't know how that would affect the speed and blinker lights

Well its top speed is 60 but it used to go 45-50 mph until I changed the stator out even when I would not start the blinker lights worked and so did the speedometer, there is no short I already replaced the fuse, when I am driving it I can feel the engine holding back its top speed is more than what is goes up to now so it has to be another problem

Ok so I had to replace my stator in my 50 cc moped because it would not start I put a new cdi box and spark plug I as well now I got it to start but the speed gauge no longer works and the turn signals by the speed gauge stay solid when driving the moped wether I put the blinker on or not and it only goes up to 30 mph when its supposed to go 60mph, I have no idea why it is doing this and it has not happened until i had to replace the stator can anyone help me resolve this please
