2014 US Titan 50cc Scooter(says velocity (?) on CVT cover. Its the one with the bunny decals.
QMB139 Engine (upgraded to 80cc)
30g sliders, HOCA activator
Clutch red springs, torque spring Yellow
Airbox replaced with K&M filter pod
Unrestricted cdi
Coil standard non Chinese replacement
Carb 28MM intake, w airfuel screw
* pre-existing issue
Left side engine case (CVT side) has broken off on inside preventing kickstart from being used.
This all started after I had breakdown due to not adjusting valves after installing Big Bore Kit.
After repairs system did start and run with no problems for a day or two.
After not riding for the weekend I went to start my scooter. It's going to turn over once that made this horrendous grinding sound akin to scraping a chalkboard.
German components noticing some wear. Removing diagnosed starter motor, cleaned bushings remounted and check the electrical connections.
Replace Bendix pinion and bushings.
Examine variator gear side which connects to the pinion when starting was warped ( guessing from Heat). Replacement of a variator new stock.
Issue remains
** I'm currently replacing Keys cover in order to reinstall kickstart so I can use scooter. This will not be a fix as the starter will still not work.
Anybody has help they can provide it would be greatly appreciated.
