Thank-you for your reply. I'm having a problem with the link. I get a flash of what looks like a stator then disappears. All I see on this link is a sign in etc. No pics. Not a computer wiz but something isn't right.

Started to get a lot of noise from the flywheel. Removed it and discovered that one of the rivets popped out of the rotor and was rolling around. I think this is what scored some of the coils on the magneto. I'm assuming that both the rotor and the stator (magneto) must be replaced. I have tried many web sites that sell Chinese scooter parts but have yet to find an exact match. I'm not very mechanically inclined but I think I can replace these parts if I can find them. I even ordered a part from Scrappydogscooters but had to return it because it didn't match. After I told them the engine code they told me that they could not get this part. Now what??

Have a 2006 Chinese scooter (Qianjiang Strada yamati Eurojet 155i). Engine code: QJ157QMJ-2. I need a replacement 12 pole stator and matching rotor. Mine has 2 plug connectors-one is a 3 white and the other is a green and white and blue and white. Does anyone know where I can get that specific part or one that is compatable? Thank-you.
I've been told that my scooter is an "anomaly", a oddity so I don't know if another magneto and rotor would even work for me. If anyone has any ideas about this please advise. Thank-you.
