Hey Guys! I'm new to the forums (waaaamp) but excited to find yall! I've just dusted off my broken down 2010 Jonway 150cc ("Rock Fire") to hopefully repair an issue with the drivetrain. As I'm just in the "diagnostic" stage, I thought I would describe the problem and see what sort of direction I can get going forward. First off, I'll just ask: does anyone know how I can locate shops in North Mississippi that work on scooters?Secondly: THE PROBLEMSo the problem we're trying to repair is that the scooter engine/drive was engaged as the scooter was up on its kickstand. THE SCENARIO: The scooter slipped, hit asphalt with a rider on board, and somehow all that load immediately on the back tire as it was already spinning/ motor was engaged, caused something to just GO in the rear drive. So from that point, the scooter would start fine, and rev, but no engagement of rear wheel. I have removed the belt drive cover, but so far no clear indications of issue. I'm wondering if it's something cracked in either the interior of the wheel itself, or the part of the drivetrain (gearbox ?) that sits just outside the rear hub assembly. Any thoughts going forward on where I might suspect to find the problem, or where I can have it looked at? So far I've downloaded the parts manual and am pretty much going to start poking and carefully removing parts till I find the issue. Also, as long as this is within the rules of the forum I am totally willing to pay someone to consult with me over the phone to solve / repair this issue... I haven't found any shops around here that do scooter work, and frankly - though I'm super amateur - I like the idea of fixing it myself.... BUT WITH AN EXPERT'S SUPPORT All best, and thanks for your attn to my post folks!! -Bill / Ulysses
