I added 1x12gauge ground wire from the cleaned bare metal frame to the cylinder head to help the Sparks ground and everything else and I added 1x12gauge ground wire from the same clean bare metal frame to the starter mounting bolt itself plus there is the factory ground wire that looks like 8 or 10 gauge that is over by the fan/flywheel side of the engine. I also cleaned the spot on the frame where the battery grounds to and the connector too so i am at a loss..... Do I have a short even though I have tested for it and don't seem to have one and all the rest of my electronics seem to work fine.... Uhhh is going on with this thing.....my dad is of no help either he told me to buy a new starter even though I have shown him it works connected to another battery lol and btw my battery is 1 week old and I keep it on a trickle charge every few days to keep it charged up while I'm diagnosing this issue

As I said above, when I hit the button the soilenoid clicks and I have solid power aka 12+ volts at the end of the starter cable coming off the soilenoid so I'd have to guess that all that is working as it should....

Starter solinoid works fine, solid click when you hit the button and 12+ volts at the end of the starter positive wire coming from the solenoid and remember it will spin when you touch it to the carb linkage but not really fast or consistently and all grounds are good and intact and I have added more grounds, one to cylinder and one direct to starter. Do I have a short? I put my multimeter on 10amp dc test with the negative wire removed from the battery and the two leads bridging the negative cable to the battery and there was no amp draw with the key on or when you hit the start button. So I don't know what the is going on. Again with starter directly to a separate battery seems to work just fine......

I don't know I will have to look, what is the green wire? Can you explain? all other electronics seem to work fine, I did get it running for a little while and it seemed fine but still working on it

Starter stopped working while I was diagnosing a no start condition because I bought this Tao tao 50 not running after a failed attempt at a 50mm bore kit install lol but anyways the only time the started will spin is if I place one of the bolt holes on the carburetor idle Screw and let it hang there and I am literally speechless. I have tried running it its own ground off the frame and I have also cleaned all the places the ground contact the gram or motor and no go. I am no noob at working on engines but this is my first scooter and I usually work on cars so guys lend me a hand what do you guys think? Cause I'm speechless because I took it apart and cleaned the brushes and surfaces with a razor to nice and clean and nothing Please help
