I inherited a 2010 Roketa MC-98A-50 scooter about 2 years ago. When I got the scooter the headlight was not working. Shortly after that I replaced the headlight bulb and it blew both elements in a very short time. Removed the burned out bulb recently and probed the headlight plug and found that I was getting about 12 volts ac on my multimeter. Tried a different regulator and came out with the same results. Tried the new bulb and seemed to work ok but why am I getting ac instead of dc voltage at my headlight plug? Can I use one of the new led bulbs on my scooter? Almost all of my riding is done in the daytime but do believe the headlight working would be a good safety idea. Thanks for any help anyone can give me..
