we actually bought out the west coast distributor inventory of Zhen/Lance and have alot of parts for this, including body. They do not fit generic parts, and are much better than anything else. We got caught up with regular business and didn't get the parts online, but if you call Osa at 702-689-6035 and email order@scrappydogscooters.com with pictures and model number, she'll hook you up. Rick javarod Cool, most of the parts i was planning on getting from you any way since you had them covered, only the seat, body and headlight were an issue.

Inside the headlight? Running light? I have one, it stays on even if the headlight is off, so ya know I don't get pulled over for not having running lights (running lights are required even during the daytime for all 2 wheel vehicles in MA). Seems weird as on a bike the headlight is always on, no? At least if it works. Hmmm, might eliminate it, the socket needs replacing, and i'm thinking of putting an angel ring in there, those wires can power it.

Yep, that's the one. I was being silly about the BMS equivalent, because if you look up the Il Bello on Wikipedia, you can see that the front changed over the years from the Palazzo to the Heritage which seem to be the same bike except for a bit of front end details. Now here's a tech question for y'all, what's the little light in the headlight for? Its on the right side, and looks like an instrument panel bulb, so I can't imagine it puts out much light.

Not sure if this is the same thing, but android app "GPS Speedometer Free" by Dan Cadar will also write a google earth file, and includes top speed, average speed, trip time and altitude data.. Also can be set for a reflective HUD display.. Hope that helps.. Hmmm, i'll keep it in mind, but this is working fairly good. What i really want is something more like a ticker tape showing my elevation along the trip.

Nothing really MAJOR seems to be wrong IMO........ Very decent cheap score!!!!!! Tell me about it. Got there at 1107, couldn't be reliably there before 1130, got their early, and luckily the other interested party hadn't shown up yet. I walked around her, kicked the tires and handed the guy his money without arguing about price. Nothing really MAJOR seems to be wrong IMO........ When it stops raining, get into the guts, Cosmetics can always be replaced. GOOD LUCK and keep us updated!!!!!!!!! (most any cheap china front fender can be used) Yep, just want the right panels, new or used, whichever i can get. If you end up needing/wanting a nice slightly used 150cc engine for that I have one that came from a bms palazzo which is what bms bike looks like that one. Thanks, but i'll prolly keep this a 50, that's what The Scooter of War is, and in fact, both are made by ZNEN, so we can easily have a pair of matching bikes when it comes to performance. Heck, i might not even upgrade mine, see the MyTracks thread about my ride, i just need to raise hill performance and top speed so i can keep up with traffic, and mine should be fine. I will say that i thought mine was a match for the Heritage, but that depends on the year. Hmmm, as far as body parts go, didn't someone mention something around here about a scooter junkyard or something in Las Vegas?

Find a dealer who carries that model and CALL THEM (that's how I was able to purchase an entire nose piece from SSR motorsports after cracking mine.) Not quite as easy in this case, the Il Belo is a Fly Scooter, and they's long gone, so i need to find someone that carries the same scooter (ZNEN Aurora) under a different name. BMS does, not sure who else does.

Interesting, this looks like Yamahas version of the Honda Wave which was the successor for the Cub/Passport. You'll prolly never see it here as that category just doesn't seem to sell well. Cub clones sell to retro lovers, but i don't think anyone else even gives them a second thought, and Waves bombed as they weren't a scooter, nor a motorcycle. I love them, but i must be the only one as nobody imports them here.

Ok, picked this up for $150. Guy was selling it as he'd decided replacing was easier than repairing. Considering that he was a bit misleading about the work it needed until i got there, i might agree with him, ifn i weren't in the mood for a project. From what i can tell, i'm going to need: Throttle assembly (electric start doesn't work) kick starter trunk lock (might just need adjustment) seat lock (might just need adjustment) headlight ignition switch front fender leg shield (both parts) rocker panels master cylinder Much of that i should be able to get from Scrappy Dog, though the body panels are vexing me, any suggestions? Anyone here what sells BMS able to get me plastics at a reasonable price? The Il Bello was made by ZNEN and is the same thing as the Heritage 150. First problem is to sort out the kick starter, not only because its the only way to start the scooter currently, but also because i don't think i want to fire up the engine if its wedged into the engaged position.

I miss Google Latitude. Looks like MyTracks may finally be a decent replacement. Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, unlike Latitude, it doesn't share real time, basically you record your trip, and can set it to save it to your Google drive. Best i've found for Latitude is Hemisphere, but its a little buggy, and there's no desktop client. This week or next, i'll be posting another trip, and this one should be fun, Fenton, roughly 30 miles from here, i want to get some info about Coolster's 110cc motors. That'll either happen tomorrow, or next Monday.

Ok, was looking for a way to share the elevation along my ride to work, and couldn't find anything good/reliable/allows sharing. I did stumble across MyTracks by Google (Android, though i'd expect there's an iOS version), which doesn't share detailed elevation, or at least i haven't figured out how, but it does record my trip. If you download the file and open it with Google Earth, the end point gives average speed, some elevation details, and the like. I uploaded mine to my Google Drive (if you have a Gmail account, you have one already), and set one public so far, my trip home: The trip to work is almost the same, except where i connect to the 370, i use a bicycle exit on the way home because of a crappy traffic light, but use a regular ramp to get on. If you want to poke at it some more, here's the trip. So, anyone else wanna share their journeys? I think it'll be fun to see how we use our scooters, special trips, regular trips, etc.

Me thinks we need a better map solution, as it appears that someone has been removing markers, i'm not there any more, and i'm not sure i'm going to bother to put m'self back on.

Considering that it should be belt driven, my first step would be to pull the CVT cover and see what there is to see in there, whether its broken parts, or a thrown or broken belt. I should think the tech section has instructions on pulling the cover.
