Hey so I know this question has probably been asked a hundred times but I thought I'd give it a shot with my specific needs. I've got a max budget of $800. I live in Seattle and don't have a motorcycle license so I'm looking at a 49cc. I haven't been able to find any worthwhile used deals on Craigslist after two weeks of looking. So I'm looking at a couple websites (scootermadness and killer motorsports) as they ship free and have good price compared to the one "local" (30 minutes away) store in my area that sells in my price range.
I'm looking at the TaoTao ATM50 or the CY50-A but killer motorsports has the Peace 50cc for just a bit more (link). Is it worth it to get the peace or is the ATM50 still the best deal? I see a lot of mixed love and hate for basically every model on the old scootdawg forums so I was wondering as of today what you all think is the best bang for my buck.
I'm willing to do the carb upgrade and re-jet on the TaoTao's if that helps but I would like one with a big enough seat so two people can ride (very occasionally and >5 miles distance).
