I also have a Sunl and like you had to deflate the tire for removal and installation however, it sounds like you have drum brakes. Mine are disc so it wasn"t a problem with the attachment of the wheel on the spline. Sounds like you may have to retard the rear brake shoes before sliding that wheel back on.
