Here's an update.
As explained in the video, I did what you said, and you were right. I couple ounces of oil were absorbed into the bottom of the air filter. I was doing some test riding and my bike did tip over about a week ago. I imagine this could of been the catalyst for the awry oil, and given a weeks time it finally found it's build up in the air filter. Should it be safe to assume after adding more oil that this doesn't need to be addressed further, or could this mean something is more seriously in need of fixing?
Thanks again for the help.

Thanks for the help. I'll go give that a try now.
Relating to the Derbi brand, I was sold the scooter under the impression that it was a quality European brand, under Piaggio. But I just talked with a mechanic and it seems that Piaggio, Vespa, and in turn Derbi are now produced in China. Unrelated to this oil leak, is Derbi reputable in anyone's opinion? What are your guys thoughts?

Hello,
I bought a 2003 Derbi Boulevard 150 recently, and out of nowhere it began dripping oil. Here's a video showing the issue.
I'm not sure what part the oil is dripping from; I was having trouble identifying it in the manual. Do you guys have any idea what part this is, and if the seal extruding is in fact the leak reason. If so, I'm not sure how the seal got there, or why it started leaking now. If I need to take the piece apart, can you link me to a good discussion of how it can be done?
Derbi is a European bike, not Chinese. It has a Piaggo (Vespa) ET4 Engine, if it matters.
Thanks!
Caleb
