Go with Scrappy Dog Scooters. Their standard 150cc carburetor is well worth it. The jets are accessible, and the needle is adjustable. I'm assuming you have a 157QMJ engine. Thanks for the reply! Yes, you assumed correctly, I have the 157QMJ engine. Do you have any personal experience with one of the carbs from Scrappy Dog? I have ordered parts from them in the past and have never had any issues with their parts, but it would be great to hear some first hand experience with this particular part. I also saw that they have a 26mm carb available too... Thats the first I've seen a carb that size listed, although I've seen the 30mm ones before. Any thoughts in that? Just curious... Thanks again!

Hello all:
I am looking to replace the worn out carb on my GY6 150cc scoot. I have searched around, and have found a lot of available replacements ranging in price from about $20 to about $60. None of these replacements are a well known brand name, outside of a few on Ebay that are allegedly Keihin carbs...which are probably knockoffs. I am sure that some of these carbs are good units, and I don't necessarily need to buy one that has name brand on it. I am not looking for a brand name, I just want to buy a good quality carb.
Can anyone recommend a good quality replacement carb, and if possible, also recommend a place to purchase it from? Any other insight/experiences/info would be great as well!
Thanks in advance!

Anybody have luck with finding parts for these bikes? I was thinking to pick up a set of brake pads/shoes just to have around. I too, would like to know this... I am considering purchasing one, despite the possible pitfalls, but my main concern is parts availability at this point. A google search turned up zilch! Thanks in advance!
