Dadzilla, it took me a week and on line tutorials to rebuild my carb. If you ask me to drop my engine, you might as well have me do open heart surgery. I'll find a way........

Thanks terrilee. Getting down is not a problem, getting back up takes longer. I think I'll try that lift idea. I'm better at wood work than scooter work, but I'm learning. It's great fun but no scooter clubs down here. Everyone rides Harleys . I'll ,post how it turns out.

I have the same problem. Where did you order your parts from? Is your exhaust pipe mounted straight up and if so, how are you going to get at it? I know I'm not draining fluids and turning the scoot on it's side.

Sorry about the nomenclature mix up. I'm in the process of looking for reverse drill bits and a easyout set. Thanks for the info.

Four years ago I sold my bike a Honda Gold Wing. It was a big, fast, machine. To me it started being intimidating. Two years ago I got the urge to ride again. I saw an ad for scooter depot and bought a Velocity 150. I live in a small town and use it for chores and scenic riding. The 70mph is a whole lot better than my Ford 150. The only thing I would change is the CCs. I should of bought a 200 or 250. After spotting a few Burgmans on line my itch is growing. Love the scooter and the riding. I wish there was a club here to meet people and ride enmass.

I have a broken stud. I haven't taken the pipe off to see if there's a clean break or some sticking out so I could grab. It's my project for next week. If I fail to get it out or screw up drilling it out, I will neede a new manifold. I have a velocity 150 bought at scooter depot. When ordering the manifold, how can I tell what brand motor I have? Where's the best place to order from? Is this a job I can do?
