Glad to see another person from SD on here. So many good rides out here and its year around. On the side of the scoot....shes a beast! Love the pictures you took and the modifications look great. spunn - Very true, we are spoiled rotten with the weather here in SD! Thank you for the compliments on my scoot. Hey quick question: are you a part of any groups or meetups here in SD for scooters/rides? I was looking for people... maybe even starting a new crew.

shalomdawg - I'll take a picture of it later today when there is light and I'll post it up. Although I am still unclear on why you want this done, but ask and you shall receive!

dev150cc I don't think it really an issue of whether or not I am handy, it's more along the lines of me wanting a professional to do it haha! But I do see what you mean and I am pretty handy.

Thanks spandi! I've worked on it for a while, but I'm not there yet. I love to keep this thing "clean" and turning heads... it's fun!

dev150cc - Your scoot can totally grow up to be like mine lol. You are also correct about the trunk. People that use it a lot will have a hard time parting ways with it! in my case, I use this to commute to work which is about 3 miles down the road, so its no biggie for me. I really want the Honda Joker solo seat. I'm still trying to find that part and cross reference the seat to see if they are compatible. My second option is to bring a picture of it to an upholsterer or fabricator and see if they can recreate it. oldchopperguy - My reaction was the same as yours when I found out what scoot the chinese cloned, I was amazed to say the least! The "Joker" was also called the "Shadow" in different places of the world, but because of the current model of Honda Shadow motorcycles it's difficult to research the Honda Shadow scooter via the internet.

Thanks oldchopperguy! Retro is the way to go, it most definitely appeals to many people young and old. This is a scooter that was modeled off of the Honda Joker, So I wanted to try and replicate that look as much as I could. Here is a Honda Joker: My scoot originally looked like this: So the first thing that had to go was the luggage rack. The joker has a sportier look because most people don't use it. I then painted the wheels fire engine red and wrapped them with 100/ -10 whitewall tires. The chinese headlight SUCKED at night, so swapped that out with a aftermarket headlight that uses H4 driving bulbs... HUGE DIFFERENCE. The engine is back to stock because I blew the top end. I used to have a 170cc big bore kit on it. I eventually want to get the motor back to where it was was before or maybe even going bigger for more power. other than that, it's pretty much stock... but I kind of like it that way. This scoot is more of the cruiser-type anyway, so I was thinking of keeping it the way it is and going out and getting a Honda Metro and modding the POOP out of that one.
