Sorry for the disappearance guys. Just for future reference 11mm width from 18mm is accurate. I did order a replacement belt and discovered the problem was due to the idle being turned too high when I purchased the scooter. The clutch never disengaged but I never noticed it. I did buy the scooter New and it was it was only 2 months old when this occurred. I knew little about these engines and drive trains at the time. I've learned a lot in the past month! The scooter to define after idle adjustment and the New belt. Thanks!

I purchased this scooter 2 months ago new and it seemed to drive fine for a while, but slowly lost its top end speed and then lost low end power as well. This is what I found when I disassembled the CVT. The belt is a standard 699-18-30 belt, however the measured width is now just under 11mm. The black on the pulleys I feel will clean off, but I'm not sure about the pitting on the drive face gear. I've ordered that part new and intend to replace, but am curious about what would cause this. I removed the clutch assembly as well and nothing seems to be stuck/broken/odd about anything on its own. I intend to get a new belt and watch the cvt operate to see if anything operates oddly together. Can anyone provide any insight or advice? Thanks!
