Still without any kind of manuals or assembly guide, so, can someone please tell me what purpose the cap with the coin slot on the top of the transmission hump serves? Does some kind of lubricant need to go in? If so, it may explain why the shifter is so damn stiff, and doesn't return to center without a solid toe. - Andy

My experience with Superiorpowersports.com was not so good. We live in New York, and the wife ordered a Roketa 127cc online in February. It arrived on time, but had a large hole in the bottom of package that darn near everything fell out of somewhere along the way. It had no keys with it, and after several calls, they sent all new locks and keys. Had to have a temp key made so I could unlock the storage to change the lock without breaking it open. No owner guide or assembly guide. Was missing most of the bolts/screws, rear drum brakes, mirrors, and the hub assembly that connects to the speedo cable was messed up. Multiple calls and emails followed. It's been since February, and finally got most of the parts, The mirrors they sent were for a scooter with much smaller mounting posts. Gave up on those and bought generic mirrors that fit.Still no assembly guide after multiple calls/emails about it. Fortunately, I've wrenched plenty of 70's/80's bikes, and my friend is a bike mechanic at a major dealer, so we had a good idea where it all went. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, but my experience with them has been far less than stellar. - Andy

Finally got it up and running! It was missing mirrors, and the ones they sent after several phone calls were for a much smaller bike with 8mm posts. I had enough and bought some 10mm generics. The shifter seems to be a bit tighter than I would have though - doesn't really return center as easily as it should. Having a problem with the speed/odometer assembly at the hub. I think the tabs on the wheel hub itself may be bent. So close..

This has been a great thread to read so far. My wife bought one of these back in February, and it's been a constant headache of missing parts, and trying to wrestle with the shop in California she ordered it from. We were initially missing all the manuals and the keys. Instead of new keys, we were finally sent all new keys and locks that I had to replace. Still missing the internals for the drum brake, the mirrors, and front reflectors. Working on those. Does anyone happen to have PDF's of the actual owner manual and assembly guide? They would be much appreciated.

Heya everyone. My name is Andrew, and I live in Rochester, NY. I've been riding for about 17 years, with my current two-wheel vice being a 2013 Triumph Thruxton. I've always loved scoots, and am currently helping my brother rebuild his 1950-something Allstate. My wife just picked up one of the Roketa Type-05 127cc rides from a dealer in California, and once we get the headache of putting it together behind us, she'll be riding the tires off it. I'm a full-time DOT dispatcher, and work part-time in broadcasting.
