 OK... How do I post a picture from my PC??? Only option I have found is from a URL??? Hay it worked!!! This is my 2008 SYM RV 250. |

I am down to the clear plastic cover of the headlight bulb I am trying to change per instructions from your previous board - see below). The instructions say "Loosened the front cover" but not how???
How do I remove the clear plastic cover???

I have had to do this on my SYM, only failed part after 17k miles. Need to take off the mirrors, pop off cover at base of mirrors to get at allen head screws. Remove the top cover panel, small panel that had mirrors mounted through it, 4 screws I think. Remove the windscreen, 6-8 screws. Loosened the front cover, had zip ties to hold it up so wouldn't hang by wires (could use rope or something else) or just remove it totally. Bulb is a standard automotive 55 watt H7 bulb. Took old one in with me to make sure bulb was exactly the same with the notches to fit in light assembly. I put in a Silvania SilverStar, picked up at auto parts store. Whole process took about 30 min start to finish, not bad at all.
