Boy this sure is a lot of effort put into a part,,,holy smokes,,,,I hate to date myself but I was building bikes from catalogs and machine shops with drawings ,,,having stuff made that wasn't available,,,it's so easy to build anything now it's a pleasure,,,just look on the net and order,,poof it's at your door 3-4 days later,,,I think this whole thing is a little overblown ,,,,

Don't know if you have a cycle gear store,by your house,,,great prices good selection and their motoboss house brand is very reasonable and it's decent stuff,,,

not familiar with the scoot but there must be a nib or pipe thats within the length of the hose,,,unless it cracked or broke in the middle either way it should be easy enough to find,,,you may need a mirror to find out where it goes,,,like the underside or backside of the airbox,,,somewhere thats not seen to the unaided eye
