Seat won't open after removing nuts. Opened up the front panel right above the headlights and I could adjust the mechanism that connects the release cord to the ignition, I tightened it up allowing the ignition to pull slightly more still nothing, I pulled on the cord at the beginning and in the middle where they connect still nothing. I'm at a lost.

Well I got the cushion off and each latch has 2 bolts on them. I was gonna get my dad to come by tmrw morning with his tools and take em out and see what happens. How would I go about taking the side panels off?

Is there a way I can just screw the seat off the thing?

Hey guys I'm new here and I recently bought my reverse trike from a local man selling it for 1500 but I swindled him down into 1100. He warned me it would need a new battery because it was sitting in his garage for a year and a half. Only 220 miles was on it. I've been kick starting the scooter for about a week and recently the battery has become completely killed. I've bought a new battery and I need to swap out the old one but I cannot get the seat to open to save my life. I've read the threads here about the same problem so please don't forward me to an old thread. I've gotten the seat open a few times before, not easily but I've succeeded. I haven't been able to pop it for 2 days now. Can someone take pictures or a video of the cord connected to the ignition that I would need to tug on to pop the seat. Any advice would help. I'm in dire need to get this new battery in and back on the road.
