When it warms up it idles great. i had turned the idle up to getit to idle when cold, but then once it warms up it idles so high that it will engage the clutch and want to move.
When i cleaned the carb, i dissasembled the entire carb, soaked it in my bucket of carburetor cleaner, blew out each and every passage and get with air, and then re-assembled it.
No intake, vacuum or exhaust leaks that i am aware of. there is one hose that is not connected to anything, but i think it is some sort of emissions thing. Because it is coming off of some canister that is also connected to the fuel tank vent, and the intake hose between the filter and carb.
FIlter is nice and clean. Scooter only has 1350 miles on it so i dont think it would be overly worn out. It is just strange that it will run just fine after it has warmed up.

Hi, i have a 2008 flyscooter La Vie 150cc scooter that i was given by someone that wanted it out of their garage. It had been sitting for a couple of years. First thing i did was drained out the old gas, cleaned the carburetor, and installed a new battery.
Now it runs great, it just will not idle until it is fully warmed up. I can hold the throttle open to get it to idle, but if i let go of the throttle it quits. I checked the electric choke, and when cold the plunger is pulled up, and as it warms up the plunger extends. I also purchased a replacement and it did not change it at all.
Im not sure where to go next with this. can anybody point me in a direction of somthing to check?
Thanks
