Hey guys I posted in the introductions section and was told to post here. I have a Yamaha CY50 Jog and I would like to mod the crap out of it. I see there are tons of resources for it but mainly in the USA and other countries. I am prepared to buy from the USA seeing as there are way more options available and the prices are way better then here. For example in ontario a 70cc big bore kit will cost me $250 before taxes and a 90cc out of florida will cost me $150 plus shipping to the boarder and since I live 20 mintes away from the boarder its easy to just drive across pick up my stuff and drive back. Saves me a bundle. I am looking for a 100cc big bore if possible, what exhaust to get clutch to upgrade too, carb I should get and how on earth to make it liquid cooling which I have seen done on youtube before. I love the thing to much to seel to upgrade I would rather make it better and its more fun to do that too But I could use hand with it. Also I have been looking for ways to increase speed with out all those changes till I have purchased all the parts. I pulled one restrictor but I think there is another somewhere. Anyone who knows about these bikes please let me know I could use a serious hand. Phil

Greetings everyone!! I am a proud owner of a Yamaha CY50 Jog I love that thing even if its small as a pimple lol. Got guts tho thats for sure.
I am actually trying to mod it but am having difficulty understanding how exactly they restrict the thing. So much conflicting information online and I have looked at pretty much all of it both reading it and actually trying it. Only thing I found was a washer in the variator and I removed that with little change to the bike.
There is a stopper in the exhaust port but I think that needs to be there for back pressure so I am afraid that if I grind it out then I will need to replace the cylinder after word cause if I am wrong and about it being a restrictor then opps engine no longer works.
I am hoping to find someone somewhere that knows this model and may be able to help me locate a few things.
I am also in the market for after market parts and some stock parts as well so if you got something let me know.
Phil
