Hey guys and gals! Joining up here looking for a good spot to read up on tips as I rebuild my Jonway 250 that I recently acquired. Not new to scooters or bikes. This 250 makes 6 various 2-wheelers in my garage. I got this one for a song from a buddy and I'm looking to lower and stretch it a bit. Hey there everyone...this is my first post here. I picked up a used YY250T (Jonway 250) and I've been picking it over and trying to get it sorted out before I start modifying it in earnest.
My biggest question is suspension?
1. Are there any options out there for the forks? I can't seem to find anything but stock replacements.
2. Is it normal for the 2 rear shocks to be different? My bike has a shock with eyes on either end on the left and one with eye on top and U on bottom on the right.
I'm sure I'll have other questions, but the motor is strong and everything else I can pretty much handle... I think!?!?
