Although I became a T-Max rider last year, I still own and operate a MC250-B scoot and visit this site regularly. While on another web site for T-Max's, a conversation went on about connector repair and although one site has commonly mentioned on this one, I thought I would provide an alternative web site one as well. When you visit it, you up will see that they will have a wide selection of connectors, tools and harnesses which include fuse box's, headlight relay and horn kits. They also proved some helpful information as well. www.cycleterminal.com/index.html

Being a Tmax owner myself, I don't think that there are many Tax riders here on this forum. You might want to check this forum which is more dedicated to Tmax's. There is the web link. majestyusa.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=27 These riders might know more about the belt you are asking about and where you might get better deals for parts and such.

The part in the left picture is the siphon tube for the oil pump. If this fell out when you did the oil change then this is exactly what it is. It goes in a hole located in the engine exactly center of the oil drain port. If you stick your finger up into the hole you will fell another hole internal of the engine where this part will go. It allows to draw oil from a lower part of the oil well within the engine. If you look at this web page, " rel="nofollow" target="_blank">roketa.com/product/parts_detail.jsp?partId=50923&partName=14.%E5%B7%A6%E5%8F%B3%E7%AE%B1%E4%BD% and look at part 4 and the description, it might make sense to you. If you have to, get a mirror and hold it under the oil drain hole to see exactly where it goes..

[replyingto=barnie]barnie[/replyingto]If this happens when going up hills, its a classic sign of your carb float being too low. This will not allow the bowl to hold enough fuel. Now if the problem goes away if you take the diaphragm off and on and corrects the problem, then the main jet needle. It gets stuck in the up position. When opening the covers allows you reset ten needle. Hope this helps.

to the wild side.
Now don't get me wrong but I love my 250 but I couldn't help it. I just purchased a Yamaha Tmax and take possession of it on Thursday. What a great deal I got for the bike. Now its a 09 with 1300 miles on it and while may other places are asking $6500 or more for a bike like this, I managed to get it under 5k not including tax and plates. This has been my dream to get one but the price just hasn't been right until now.
The reason for getting on is due to me 200lb+ weight and the local hills that I need to travel. I plan on using this for commuting on the highway and the 250 slows down to an average of 60mph while all the cars around me want to do 70+mph in a 50/55mph zone. Here in NY, the drivers are ruthless and don't care about the other guy on the road.
I can only explain that a Tax is the sports bike of scooters and the crossover between a motorcycle and a scooter due to its rear swing arm and chain final drive.
