Love it "As the scooters we will be using are notoriously unreliable, with almost as many known weaknesses as the number of parts it is comprised of, we will need to bring allmost half a scooter in spare parts, as well as enough tools to be able to take it completely appart and put it back together again." Way to pick your vehicles guys!

The other 2 seem to have ruckus frames only with more plastic. Does it smell like harbor freight? ;D That stuck with me when watching a video comparison of a Honda ruckus and a clone... the guy said it smelled like china... or harbor freight same thing ...

[replyingto=bolts]bolts[/replyingto] Big ruckus clone 150cc: houston.craigslist.org/mcy/3958659560.html "2009 VITACCI EDGE 150cc only has 1931 miles on it. NEW Piston, Cylindar and New Carburetor " How reassuring... only 1931 miles and a new piston, "cylindar", and new carb... wow

[replyingto=jrt]Paladin[/replyingto] Wow you guys are great thanks for all the response really appreciate it!
As far as off road goes it would need to handle rough gravel roads, no boulders or jumping or anything excessively rough. Basically rough country roads. Perhaps some of the models mentioned above equipped with some knobby tires would do, I'll look into them after this post.
The ruckus 250 seems like the ticket .... or clones?
What would I search for if looking for a ruckus clone?
As far as highway goes the more power the better ...more along the lines of freeway capable than highway.
Besides a ruckus perhaps a beefier than average scooter equipped with appropriate tires will do?

Hi brand newbie here and I'm interested in a highway worthy offroad capable scooter
If anyone can point out a model or 2 in the 150cc to 250cc range it would really be appreciated
Larger wheels would be better and I would even consider a rugged onroader I would be able to throw some knobbies onto TIA bolts
