Welcome aboard, I am originally from Pittsford, NY, now in Maryland. Lots of great scootin' country in the Finger Lakes region. Hope you enjoy this great forum.

Wow, thanks for enlightening all of us. I'm not sure I would ever have figured that one out without the help of someone with a BSEE.

My 2012 Tomos Twister 50 is a quality scoot IMHO and it has 16 inch wheels which smooth the ride over the potholes in the spring of the year.

Hey guys and gals. I own a sailboat and I frequent sailing sites and forums as well as scooter forums. I find that many of the same types of problems are common to both of my hobbies and as such, solutions to many problems are often applicable to both sailboats and scoots. Today I found a new (patent pending) tool that I hope will put an end to dropped screws. Steel screws are usually not a problem since magnetic screwdrivers usually take care of that, but if you are using non-ferrous screws, ie: brass, aluminum, bronze or stainless steel, these inexpensive little gems may just do the trick. I have no financial interest in this outfit, but I just think it is a great idea. They will be ready to ship in June. I have ordered a set and am looking forward to receiving them. Check them out here: www.screwgrabber.com/
