My 2011 Taotao CY50-A has never given me a bit of trouble until yesterday, apx. 3,600km of riding. Arriving at my destination after a 5 mile ride, I noticed my fuel level was rapidly dropping. Once stopped, a big problem was obvious, as fuel was pouring out the bottom of the scooter. The scooter ran for a moment tryint to start it back up but now will not start.
Today, I verified that fuel is reaching the carb, but after a few seconds of turning over the engine fuel starts gushing out of the bottom, between the underside of the engine and the CVT housing. I can't be more specific than that because I can't actually see where the fuel is leaking from! Areas I can see around the carb are dry but it's clearly leaking from somewhere.
I'm definitely getting spark, the motor tries to catch but is clearly starved for fuel. Is there anything simple I can look at before I start removing major parts? It doesn't look like my carb is adjustable either.
