If I were to do just a simple PDI such as making sure bolts are tight and changing oil out etc etc should i be fine? This is just to get me by for a few months....

Here is a quick question, is the taotao powermax 150 good for a first scooter? It seems like some people hate the taotaos while others say they are great.

Get one from provenpowersports.com bought from there too they are good with good customer service and fast shipping Really? I heard that they take forever to get paperwork to you, if they even do it at all.

Okay. So I am 18 and looking to get my first scooter. I am broke, and looking for the cheapest scooter I can find while feeling comfortable about the thing. I have no mechanical experience but my stepdad has the tools and the know how. I also know how to use google, read directions and apply them. I want to order online because it is inexpensive, and where I live there are no dealers nearby. So What I am wondering, is of these two places, which is the better to buy from?
